I really enjoy finding new things to reinvigorate myself with photography. The tilt-shift technique became popular 4-5 years when famed photographer Vincent Laforet began using it in the mainstream. I’ve never been one to go with the majority. I usually wait until the fads fade out. This means I’ll be shooting viral videos in about 2 years.
This photograph was taken from a favorite spot on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The tilt-shift effect blurs everything but a single line of focus. In this case, it makes the motorcycle to look like a toy. It’s a pretty neat technique that makes some of my dull images look pretty cool.
